Jen began working at SW&L in 2021 as a Legal Administrative Assistant. She is now a Paralegal with SW&L in the areas of Criminal Defense and Personal Injury.
Jen is very passionate about helping the growing community with their legal needs. She works with Adam Justinger in Criminal Defense and with Nathan Severson in Personal Injury. Every day she is learning something new and that’s one of the things she likes most about being in this field. Jen is dedicated to going the extra mile for our clients and developing good relationships with them as well.
Jen graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications. She also has a deep interest in the law and received a Paralegal Certificate in the summer of 2022 from Rasmussen University.
In her free time, Jen loves to read, go to the movies, see her family and friends, go to sporting events and cheer on her favorite teams. She likes trying new food as well as listening to music. She has two guinea pigs to spoil and loves a great TV show.

Josh received a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from North Dakota State University in 2017 and graduated magna cum laude. While there, he worked in a cancer research laboratory, studying the microbiology of various forms of cancer. After graduating from North Dakota State, Josh attended Drake University Law School in Des Moines, Iowa. There he participated on the arbitration team, moot court board, and the Drake Journal of Agricultural Law. Josh also received multiple awards, including the Journal’s junior staff member of the year and an award for obtaining the highest grade in his first year contracts course. Josh graduated in 2021, with high honors.
Josh was born in Fargo, North Dakota. Growing up, he enjoyed camping, biking, and spending his summers lifeguarding at the local pool. In his spare time, Josh can be found at the gym, catching up on Netflix, or at his family’s lake cabin.
Josh loves participating in his home community, regularly attends various local events, and recently joined a wake-boarding group out at the lakes.
