Tara Anderson is an associate attorney at SW&L Attorneys. The focus of Tara’s practice is personal injury law. Tara’s passion is helping people who have been injured by the negligence of others.

 

Education and Work Background

Tara attended North Dakota State University in Fargo, North Dakota, receiving her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology. During college, she had different jobs, working as a certified nursing assistant, server, and sales associate. Following graduation, Tara completed an internship, working with people who had disabilities. Prior to attending law school, Tara worked as a paralegal in the personal injury department at SW&L Attorneys.

 

During her second year of law school, Tara completed an externship with Judge Myron Bright in the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. During her final year of law school, Tara completed an externship with the United States Attorney’s Office in Fargo and an externship with Cass County District Court. Throughout law school, Tara worked as a law clerk in the personal injury department at SW&L Attorneys. Tara graduated from the University of North Dakota School of Law in May of 2018.

 

Personal Background

Tara grew up on a ranch outside of Taylor, North Dakota. Tara’s parents instilled in her the value of hard work and perseverance at a young age, and those values have continued into her legal career.

 

Tara lives in Fargo with her husband Seth. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the lake, reading, and playing music.
