Jesse Maier is an associate attorney with Severson, Wogsland & Liebl, PC, in Fargo, North Dakota. He currently practices in estate planning, business law & real estate. Prior to joining Severson, Wogsland & Liebl, Jesse served as law clerk for the nine judges in North Dakota’s East Central Judicial District.

 

Educational Background

 

Jesse attended North Dakota State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. Jesse earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 2015. While in law school, Jesse earned an externship with Judge Hovland in the United States District Court for the District of North Dakota. Jesse was also heavily involved in Moot Court, serving as a board member and earning three second place awards in national competitions concerning energy and constitutional law. In 2015, Jesse was awarded the Jack Marcil Oral Advocacy Scholarship for his refined skills in argumentation and oral advocacy and was named to the Order of Barristers (for recognition of advocacy skills).

 

Personal Background

 

Jesse currently resides in Fargo with his wife, Teresa, and their dog, Banjo. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, snowmobiling, kayaking, and generally being outdoors.
